Mrs. Hester R. Cooke, 87, formerly of Cruz Drive, Nanuet,died Monday morning, October 16, 2006, at her home. She was born in Powhatan, VA, daughter of the late Andrew Hobson and Anna Sturdivant Hobson and was preceded in death by her husband, Abraham Cooke and a daughter, Gerri Cassandra Johnson. Mrs. Cooke retired as a Bookkeeper for the County of Rockland, NY.
