On January 7, 1972 at the St. Norbert Nursing Home, Mrs. Mathilda Skillen, age 74 years, late of Monominto, Man. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 11 at 2:00 p.m. from Ostenfeld Lutheran Church with Pastor Parno officiating. Interment to follow in the Monominto Cemetery. A lifelong resident of Monominto, Mrs. Skillen is survived by two daughters, Mrs. S. Petersen (Pearl) of Sidney, Montana, Mrs. R. Despins (Joyce) of Sayward, B.C., sons, Raymond and John of Monominto, brothers Fred and David Fay of East Kildonan, sisters Mrs. A. Eddington of St. Vital, Mrs. C. Kallwies of Anola, 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Transcona Funeral Chapels in care of arrangements.
