Wilma Gertrude Fenley

Went home to be with the lord on Friday, March 4, 2016 with her family by her side.

Wilma was born September 6, 1929 in Havelock Nebraska to William & Goldie Kagy. They moved to the town of Woodlake when Wilma was a child. Wilma finished her school years in Woodlake before moving back to Nebraska. While in Nebraska, Wilma gave birth to her daughter Linda. She didn't live long in Nebraska, before returning back to California. Together with her daughter Linda, they made their home in Visalia. To provide for her daughter Wilma began her career with Montgomery Wards as a receiving clerk in 1961. A short time later she married her longtime friend C.J. Fenley. Wilma opened her heart and arms to more than just C.J. when they married; she also opened them to his 2 sons, Danny and Tommy. They loved her like their mom from day one. Wilma loved being a mom, but she also loved her career at Wards. After 23 wonderful years, she decided to retire from Montgomery Wards in 1984. She was to hardworking to just sit at home so she began working alongside her husband in their family owned tile business, Fenley Tile. Wilma & C.J. worked together in their tile business until they both decided to retire together in 1995. She lived her retirement years to the fullest. Together with C.J. they traveled with their 5th wheel for the next 20 years seeing the U.S. Next to being a loving wife and mom, Wilma loved nothing more than being Grandma to her "grandbabies", her great "grandbabies" and her great great "grandbaby".

Wilma is survived by her loving husband of 46 years C.J., daughter Linda Bjornstad (Bob), son Danny Fenley, son Tommy Fenley (Pat), brother William Kagy (Dorit),brother Jimmy Kagy, sister Helen Martin (Carl), 5 "grandbabies, 9 great grandbabies, 1 great great grandbaby, Numerous Nieces and Nephews, and Numerous long time "gym" friends from Lifestyles.

Wilma is preceded in death by her Mother & Father, sister Nellie, sister Barbara, brother Paul (Sonny), sister Pauline, sister Ruth, sister Evelyn and sister Dorothy.

Graveside Services are Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Visalia Public Cemetery District fallow by Reception at Visalia Elks Lodge.
