Mrs. Anna Crane, nee Amerman living one mile north of Center died of Consumption last Wednesday and was buried at Helts Prairie Cemetery on the following Friday. Her pastor, (The Reverent Matthews) preached her funeral. He paid a glowing tribute to her womanly virtues. She was born and raised in this community, and during the thirty four years of her life she never made an enemy. It can be truly said of her that she was a kind, modest and Christian woman. She leaves a husband and seven children to mourn her loss. They have the heartfelt sympathy of the entire community.
