Albert M. Chaffee of 2969 Califoria Street died late yesterday of a sudden heart attack. He was 66 years of age.
Born in Madison, Ohio, Chaffee had lived in Eureka for the past 30 years. He was a retired carpenter. He held membership in the local unit of the Carpenters' union and in Cascade Lodge, No. 36, F. and A. M., of Great Falls, Mont.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. E. Blanche Chaffee of Eureka and two sisters, Mrs. Fred Trapp of Fort Worth, Texas, and Mrs. Mildred Beckwith of North Carolina.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Cooper Mortuary, Chapel of the Ferns, with Humboldt Lodge F. & A. M. No. 79 officiating. Interment will follow in the Sanctuary of Peace, Ocean View Cemetery.
