Funeral Services Held For Mrs. Dixie Moore
Mrs. Dixie Moore, 59, of Quitman, died about 3 PM Saturday, shortly after he arrival at Lincoln Genral Hospital in Ruston.
Funeral services were held at 3 PM Sunday in Quitman Baptist Church with the Rev. C. C. Milstead officiating. Burial was in the Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home.
Survivors include her husband, James L. (Buddy) Moore Sr. of Quitman; two sons, Shelton Moore, Quitman and James L. Moore,Jr. of Baton Rouge; two daughters, Mrs. Vonnie Powell, Monroe, and Mrs. H. L. Henry, Sr., of Ruston; also six grandchildren.
Pallbearers were R. B. Blalock, Melvin Blalock, Ermon McConathy, Pete Harvey, James Earl Harvey, and Bobby Vail.
