Robert E. Bertzfield, 76, of 631 Pine Hill Road, Lititz, died Saturday at Luther Acres, Lititz, following a lengthy illness. He was a salesman for Dewalt Black and Decker Company and had operated Bertzfield Grocery Store, Lititz. Bertzfield served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Roy E. and Grace Carpenter Bertzfield. He was married to Emma Smith Bertzfield. His first wife, Mildred Kitney Bertzfield, died in 1986. Surviving besides his wife are a daughter; Debrah B., married to Joseph A. Radesky of Lititz; a stepson, Kevin Driver of Los Angeles; 2 grandchildren; and a sister, Sarah, married to Glenn R. Fadner of Landisville.
