of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 20, 2016.
The relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service on Friday, March 25, 2016 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 11:00 am.
A graveside burial will be held at Elmwood Cemetery, Birmingham, Alabama at a later date.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 25, 2016 at the Mount Pleasant Chapel from 10:00 am until time of the service.
Mary was born January 26, 1918 in Birmingham, Alabama, daughter of the late Thomas Heflin Blake and the late Lula Geneva Sparks Blake. She was married to William Joseph Beason who predeceased her in 1978.
Mary moved to Mount Pleasant, SC in 1992 to be near her family and was a member of Hibben United Methodist Church and Busy Bodies.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Jo Ann Powell and Dr. and Mrs. Daniel G. Badger; six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren of Mount Pleasant, SC.
