Johnny W. Boggs, age 52 of Cumberland, KY, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2014, at the Harlan ARH Healthcare. He was born in Harlan County, KY on October 03, 1961 to Arnold and Stella Bowdler Boggs. Johnny was a disabled coal miner with Lone Mountain Processing and believed in the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Sue Senters Boggs of Cumberland; sons, Matthew (Candace) Boggs of Cumberland and Tracey Senters (girlfriend, Chadie Jones) of Alabama; brothers, Tommy and Billy Boggs; sisters, Lisa Senters, Joann and Mary Boggs; five grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
The family will receive friends in the Chapel of the Tri City Funeral Home in Benham, KY on Tuesday, February 11, 2014, between 6 – 9 pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2014, in the Chapel at 1 pm with Tim Amburgey officiating. Interment will be in the Boggs Hollow Cemetery in Blair, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
