Double stone with Louis B. Walters.

Headstone surveyed by Claudie E. and Betty Bishop Hodges October 13, 1990.

Listed as Betty Walters in the transcript, but she can be seen with her husband L.B. on the 1900 Lincoln Parish census as Sarah E (Elizabeth?). She was born in January, 1867. She was the mother of eight children who are in the household: Clunie A., Claumia [sic Clemmie], Urilla, Mira C., Albert M., Elva, Louis B. and a two month old unnamed baby girl (1910 census shows her as "Odessa"). A ninth child, Carrie, can be seen in Louis' household in 1910.

May be the daughter of Henretta Collins seen on the 1880 Lincoln Parish census. She has a daughter Sarah about the right age.
