Rosa Jane Frampton, daughter of Andy and Ida Wilcox, was born June 24, 1885, at Parnel, Mo., and died July 9, 1971, at Texas County Memorial Hospital, Houston, Mo., making her age 85 years and 15 days.

She was united in marriage to Alpha Frampton Aug. 5, 1908 and to this union seven children were born. One son, Loren David, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, Alpha; three sons, Raymond of Kansas City, Kans., Elmer of Summersville, Roy of San Paolo, Calif., ; three daughters, Edna Force of Viola, Mo., Neva Gaston of Eunice, Dorothy Lee of Maysville, Mo.; one brother, David Wilcox of the state of Idaho; one sister, Florence Curtain of Savannah, Mo.; 28 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Frampton had spent the past 26 years in the Eunice community.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 13, in the Evans-Elliott Chapel with the Rev. Arnold Green officiating. Burial was in the Big Creek Cemetery.
