Clinton D. Anderson Clinton D. Anderson, 83, of Ventura, passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday, January 25, 2005 at his residence with his children by his side. Clinton was born February 9, 1921 in Bolivar, Missouri, where he received his education, after which he moved to California.Clinton was a 57-year resident in Ventura County. He retired after 30 years of service as a pumper and meter man for Argo Oil Co. When not at work, he enjoyed being an avid fisherman and hunter. Clinton was a member of the Southern Baptist Churches of Fillmore and Santa Paula. He loved to be with his family. Clinton was also a World War II veteran.Clinton was predeceased by his wife, Edith Anderson, five years ago, and by his brother, Darryl, during World War II.Clinton is survived by his children, Yvonne Bird of Ventura, Clinton Anderson of Chico, and Lyndel Anderson of Bloomington, Indiana; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
