MILDRED A. TIGNOR, 83, of Huntington, W.Va., and widow of Donald Sterling Tignor, passed away peacefully at her daughter's home on Monday, January 21, 2008. She was born in Cabell County, West Virginia, December 19, 1924, to the late Ezra and Hester Elizabeth Adams. She was retired from Family Services and was a lifelong resident of Chesapeake, Ohio, where she also worked as a teacher's aide at Chesapeake schools and most recently was the owner of Millie's Patience Unlimited. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Luana Cook-Scott, 11 a.m. Friday at the Reger Funeral Chapel, with burial to follow at the White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, W.Va. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, David Edward Scarberry, one grandson, Jesse Porter Adkins; and one brother, Kenneth Adams. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Donna T. and Jim Rumbaugh of Huntington, Barbara T. and Rick Eldridge of Ripley, W.Va., April D. and William J. Repka of Columbus, Ohio; five grandchildren, Tia Rumbaugh of Huntington, Joshua Adkins and his wife Kati of St. Charles, Mo., Sevin Eldridge of Ripley, W.Va., Nik Repka of Columbus, Ohio, Quincy Repka of Columbus, Ohio; one great-grandson, Jesse Adkins of St. Charles, Mo.; one brother, George W. Adams of Huntington; one sister, Oretha "Cricket" Campbell of Huntington; one sister-in-law, Aris Lee Adams of Milton, W.Va., and several nieces and nephews.
