Kristen Kay Best, 18, of Shawnee, died Monday, March 21, 2016, in Oklahoma City. Oklahoma. She was born May 31, 1997, in Shawnee Oklahoma to Sean and Regina (Ward) Best.

She graduated from Shawnee High School and attended Seminole State.

She enjoyed arts and crafts, cooking, baking, sewing, knitting, 4-wheeling, being outdoors, and playing with her niece and nephew.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Forrest Best, and a grandmother, Virginia Moore.

Survivors include her parents: Sean and Regina Best of Shawnee; sister: Stephanie and husband, Garrett Billins, of Shawnee; niece and nephew: Addison and Gunner; grandparents: Kay Best of Shawnee and Grady Ward of Sand Springs; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; longtime friends: Jessica Ray and Alexis Rendon; other close family and friends; and the doctors, nurses, and staff of the Jimmy Everest Center and OU Children’s Hospital.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m., Friday, March 25, at Calvary Cemetery
