Donna Ray Freeman Grubb Wood, 53, of Englewood, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2016, at her home.
A native of Strawberry Plains, and a longtime resident of McMinn County, she was a daughter of the late Lewis Isaac and Iva Jean Cooper Freeman.
She was a former employee of Crescent Hosiery Mill and Heil Trailer.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Crystal and Brad Holder of Athens, and Beth and Josh Burnette of Athens; four grandchildren, Kassity Shadrick, Megan Holder, Cohl Emerson and Preston Emerson; one great-grandchild, Cannon Coleman; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Diane and William Hampton of Athens, and Beverly and Robert True of Riceville; four brothers and one sister-in-law, Danny Freeman of Call, Texas, Dale Freeman of Athens, Doug Freeman of Niota, and Billy and Julie Freeman of Charleston; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Graveside services will be 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in Clearwater Cemetery with the Rev. Billy Freeman and the Rev. Rick Shadrick officiating.
Pallbearers will be Blake True, Mark Lankford, Michael Davis, Clyde Freeman, Dale Freeman, Bill Hampton, David Davis, and Derek Freeman.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
