POLAND — Helen E. Abblett, 79, of 3076 E. Western Reserve Road, Poland, died at 7:15 a.m. Wednesday at the Northside Medical Center in Youngstown, following a brief illness. She had been at the Medical Center four days.
Mrs. Abblett was born on Dec. 13, 1926, in Poland, the daughter of Hugh and Helen Adams Black.
She was a lifelong area resident and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Donald M. Abblett, whom she married Sept. 18, 1948; two daughters, Kimberly Molnar of North Lima and Linda Genuske of Canfield; a son, Ronald Abblett of Canfield; four sisters, Mrs. Frank (Virginia) Vitko and Mrs. Jim (Beverly) Lewis both of New Springfield and Mrs. (Mary) Emch and Mrs. Dale (Margaret "Peggy") Aeppli both of Youngstown; eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in North Lima. Burial will be in Paradise Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in North Lima.
