Services for Dorothy Faye "Dottie" Young, 64, of Ruston, LA will be held Wednesday, October 15, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston. Officiating will be Rev. T. J. Boyd. Interment will follow in the Cook Cemetery in Ruston, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston, LA. Mrs. Young died Sunday, October 12, 2003 in Ruston following a brief illness. Mrs. Young was a member of Barnett Springs Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, George D. Young of Ruston, LA; son, Doug Young and wife Becky of Ruston, LA; sister, Helen Dozar of Henderson, Nev.; brother, Sonny Richardson of Lewisville, TX; and grandchildren, Kristen and Casey Young; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the Barnett Springs Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Scott Richardson, Paul Richardson, Rob Richardson, Andy Richardson, Aubrey Lewis and Gerrel Huey. Family will receive friends Tuesday, October 14, 2003 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
