Snay, Leslie "Buck" Of Kalamazoo, MI Les passed away Wednesday evening, August 26, 2009 at Kairos Dwelling. He was born May 8, 1918 in Manistee, MI, the son of Lewis and Josephine (Olsen) Snay. Les was a veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II. He was employed by James River Paper Co. for 33 years until his retirement. On Jan. 10, 1960, Les was united in marriage to Aileen Berg, who preceded him in death on February 19, 2004. Also preceding him in death were a brother, Robert "Bobby" Snay, and a sister, Dorothy Peckham. Surviving are his daughter, two grandchildren,several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services and military honors for Les will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park Chapel, 3941 S. Westnedge Avenue. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be directed to Kairos Dwelling, West Michigan Cancer Center, American Diabetes Association , or American Heart Association.
