Laura “Annette” Jackson age 72 of Cottondale passed away at her home on Tuesday, March 29, 2016. She was a native of Jackson County born on December 28, 1943 to the late James Robert and Laura Edelle Cloud. She enjoyed her job at Walmart and was a member of the Damascus Free Will Baptist Church. Annette loved spending time and cooking for her family and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Earl Cloud and her son Keith Jackson. Annette is survived by her children Laurie Berry(Shane) and Greg Jackson(Beverly), brother Jimmy Cloud (Jonnie), sister Jeanette Dipasquale, Judy Cloud, and sister-in-law Linda Cloud, grandchildren Zachary, Brandon, Brian(Lacey), Kala(Shaun), and Chelsie(Dillon), great grandchildren Noah, Hunter, and April, and a host of special nieces and nephews.
Services for Annette will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Damascus Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Wright officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 1, 2016 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. in the Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
