MRS. CHESTER DURBIN
Shelbina, Mo., Jan. 9. — Mrs. Sadie Lucille Durbin, 64, wife of Chester Durbin of Shelbina, died in her home Saturday afternoon. She had become ill after returning from a shopping trip.
Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2:30 in the Shclbina Christian church with the Rev. Carroll Kakac officiating. Burial was in the Shclbina I. O. O. F. cemetery.
Mrs. Durbin was born in Shelby county Sept. 12, 1902, a daughter of Dr. John and Lela Waller Hyatt. She wa a member of the Shclbina Christian church. She was married to Ben Phillips, who preceded her in death. She was married on April 5, 1945, to Mr. Durbin.
Surviving besides her husband are a stepson, Chester Durbin of Mobcrly, twin daughters, Mrs. Oneata Ben Ross of St. Joseph and Mrs. Betty Sue Bender of Shelbina; a brother, Herbert H. Hyatt of Jacksonville; 11 grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother.
