Mother of 10 and a homemaker, died Monday at Southwood Community Hospital, Norfolk. She was the former wife of the late James Ellis Wade. Born in Boston July 18,1924, she was the daughter of the late Francis D. and Elizabeth (Kehoe) MacDonald, and had lived in Mansfield for 40 years. Mrs. Wade was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, a member of the Mansfield VFW Auxiliary and a volunteer at the Hockomock YMCA in North Attleboro. She was a 1940 graduate of St Patrick's Catholic High School, Roxbury. She leaves seven sons, Craig J. of Anchorage, Alaska, Robert F (deceased), Richard A., Gregory T, Gary S.(deceased), Brian E., and James L., all of Mansfield; three daughters, Elizabeth J Murray of Greenville North Carolina, Susan M Wade of Attleboro Ma, and Jennifer Wade-Bennett of Vermont, two sisters Noreen MacDonald (deceased) of Mansfield and Thelma Dumont of Westford; 18 grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be at 8 a.m. Thursday from the Sherman and Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., followed by a funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 330 Pratt St. Burial will be in Spring Brook Cemetery.
