Mary Lee (Swanner) Gilbert, 94, passed away Wednesday afternoon at Bennett Place in New Albany, Indiana.
She was born in London, Kentucky to the late Roy and Ethel (Black) Swanner.
She was a longtime member of Culbertson Baptist Church in New Albany.
Survivors include:
Sons: William G. “Bill” Gilbert Jr. and his wife Sandy, Gary L. Gilbert
Daughter: Ann Swanner Riddle
Grandchildren: James Riddle Jr., Brian Gilbert, Brandon Gilbert, Matthew Gilbert and Kyle Gilbert
Great Grandchildren: Alexandrea Riddle, Joey Riddle, Paisley Gilbert and Jayleigh Gilbert
She was preceded in death by her husband William G. Gilbert Sr., brother Roy Swanner and sister Bernice Baldwin
Visitation will from 2-8 PM Sunday at the Oak St. Chapel of Seabrook, Dieckmann & Navile Funeral Homes (1846 E. Oak St. New Albany)
A funeral service celebrating Mary Lee’s life will be held 11 AM Monday at Culbertson Baptist Church (4007 Grantline Rd., New Albany) with visitation at church before the service from 9-11 AM.
Burial will follow at SCI-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
