Leonard Lloyd Hager
Services for Leonard Lloyd Hager were held in St. John's United Methodist Church in Stamford.
He grew up in the New Hope Community in Jones County and attended school in Stamford until his junior year in high school when he transferred to Texas Military Institute. Later, he attended George Washington University and played football from 1930 to 1932.
He married Lillian Terry Morrow on 18 December 1983 in San Angelo. The couple moved to Stamford in 1986. He was a member of the Methodist Church, Brotherhood Bible class, and Stamford Lions Club.
Survived by his wife; one brother - W.H. Hager; one stepson.
