Noah Mitchell Inglet, 58, died at 8:05 p.m. Thursday, January 5, 1950 at his daughter's home in Bangs after an illness of five years. He had lived in Brown County 49 years.

Funeral services were conducted at the First Baptist Church in Bangs at 4:00 p.m. Friday, with Rev. O. D. Carpenter, pastor, officiating.

Mr. Inglet was born in Bastrop July 7, 1891 to William 'Bill' and Belle (Browder) Inglet. He was married to Lula Nelson on September 24, 1916. The Brown County farmer was a veteran of World War I. He had been at Fort Whipple, Arizona, in the Veteran's Hospital for the past few months. He was to be transferred to the Veterans Hospital in Temple, Texas.

Mr. Inglet was converted when a small child, but had never united with any church.

He was a true and upright citizen of the community, and will be greatly missed by his many friends and loved ones.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lula Inglet; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Vada) Reynolds of Bangs; one son, Bobby Ray Inglet of Bangs; three sisters, Mrs. Luther (Dora) Gibbens of Sun Valley, California, Mrs. Barbara Gibbens of Los Angeles, California, and Mrs. A. A. (Ella) Seal of Brady; three brothers, Z. V. (Zed) Inglet of Rising Star; T. B. (Toko) Inglet and H. O. 'Pete' Inglet both of Ceres, California; and two grandchildren, Betty Ann and Bobby Eugene Reynolds of Bangs.

Pallbearers were: C. J. McNeely, Harry N. BeZanis, Bryan Harriss, Hubbard Reynolds, Freeman Creekmore and George Teeters.

Two special songs were sung by Miss Earlene and Jean Inglet of Rising Star, nieces of Mr. Inglet. These were "Precious Memories," and "Shall We Gather at the River." The choir sang "Does Jesus Care."

Davis-Morris Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Interment was in Bangs Cemetery.
