Ella Elmira Goodall, 84, Lower Sackville, passed away October 7, 2001, in the New Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born in Boutilier's Point, she was a daughter of the late Wesley and Minnie (Langille) Boutilier. Ella enjoyed gardening and loved children and animals. She is survived by daughters, Gladys (Basil) MacDougall, Sackville; Judy (Kimber) Publicover, Rockingham; special mom to Mona (Ralph) Dorey, Boutilier's Point; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Evelyn (Albert) Hartlen, Head of St. Margaret's Bay; Florence (Donnie) Awalt, Halifax; Katherine (Keith) Mahaney, Lake George, Kings County; Marion Whiting, Chester; Mona (Ralph) Dorey, Boutilier's Point; Vera (Bill) Reid, Halifax; brother, Eric (Maisie) Boutilier, Boutilier's Point. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold; son, Sherman; sisters, Iona, Lillian, Prena; brothers, Cyril, Murray, Warren. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Atlantic Funeral Home, Sackville Drive. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. John the Evangelist Church, Old Sackville Road, Rev. Ron Cutler officiating. Burial to follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery with a reception to follow in the funeral home. Flowers graciously accepted. Donations to a charity of choice. Special thanks to the doctors and nursing staff of 8.2 in QEII Health Sciences Centre.
