Mattie Gray Farr age 90,formerly of Lincoln Ave., Asheboro died Tuesday, February 5, 2002 at Asheboro Health & Rehabilitation, Asheboro.

Mrs. Farr was the daughter to the late Dolph and the late Rama (Linthicum) Gray. Mrs. Farr was a native of Randolph County, was formerly employed at Tip-Top Hosiery and retired from Randolph Hospital.

She is survived by daughters: Nancy S. Black of High Point, NC; Frances F. Yannuzzi of Asheboro, NC; Levena F. Pete Norris of Asheboro, NC; sons: William Bill Farr of Asheboro, NC; Tommy Farr of Asheboro, NC; 19 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 16 great great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 1:00-2:30 P.M. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 8, 2002 at 3:00 p.m. at Randolph Memorial Park with Pastor Boyd Byerly and Pastor Wayne Eller officiating.
