Mrs. Vanhook was a retired Ward Secretary with Greenville Hospital and a member of New Liberty Baptist Church.
Survived by a daughter and son-in-law; five sons and four daughters-in-law; four sisters and three brothers; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Predecased by a brother, Oscar Daniel; a grandson, Preston Sylar; and a granddaughter, Makayla Skraggs.
Funeral services: Monday, March 17, 2008, graveside at New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. Her memorial service followed
the burial.
