She married Melvin LaVern Potter 27 Nov. 1947. They had 2 children: Michael Warren (1948-2011) and Katheryn Laura (1950-2008) and she helped raise her two younger sisters after our mother died. She passed away in Petoskey after contacting a staph infection a few weeks prior to entry into the hospital. She also had emphysemia and septic arthritis and was treated for these ailments for years.
