Survivors include wife Ruby Andrews; son David (Teresa) Legros; daughters Yvonne (Harry) Hoffmaster, Evonne (Don) Jankowski and Annie Smarr; step-son Steven (Cathy) Kleinsmith; 8 grandchildren and a stepgrandson; 3 great-granddaughters and 5 great-grandsons; sisters Valerie (Mark) Howard and Suzanne Caldwell; brothers Doug (Joy) Lynch, Tom (Kathi) Swearer and Charles T. (Carolyn) Andrews; as well as longtime friend James (Judy) Bettis.
He was preceded in death by son Pete Hoffa and sister Judith (Harvey) Caldwell.
David served in the United States Marine Corp.
Worked for Prince William County Schools in the Maintenance Department in HVAC department.
Owned DL Andrews Heating and Air Conditioning.
