(1922 - 2016)

Kenton "Bud" J. Busse, age 93, formerly of the St. Nazianz area, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at Maritime Gardens, Manitowoc.

Bud was born on June 26, 1922 at the family homestead in Kiel, son of the late Arthur and Adeline (Streckert) Busse. He was a graduate of Valders High School, Class of 1941 where he excelled in football and band. Bud was a Veteran of the United States Army serving in Germany during World War II. He was employed with Danny Meyer and Don Johnson construction companies as a carpenter until his retirement in 1970.

Survivors include two nieces: Judith Busse-Wessely and Sharon (Roy) Meier, Manitowoc. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: Arthur and Adeline Busse; and his twin brother and sister-in-law: Kenneth and Florence Busse.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 8, 2016 at The Christianson & Deja Funeral Home, Valders. Officiating at the Service will be Pastor Nicole Welke with burial at Streckert Cemetery, Collins.
