Charlotte Ann Schick, 81, loving homemaker, passed away March 22, 2016. She was born on November 20, 1934 in Little Rock, AR to James E. and Helen Ward Carter. As a youth in Little Rock, she performed in many musical reviews with the Dorothy Donelson Dancers as a ballet and tap dancer, and she taught dance to children as well. On September 21, 1953, she married Maj. Thomas Edward Schick, USAF in Benton, AR. From that union, they had two children, Thomas A. and Karen. While raising her children, she served as a Cub Scout Den Mother, and a Brownie and Girl Scout Leader. She was a member of the Francisco Garces Chapter of the National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution. In addition, Charlotte was also a member of numerous genealogical and heritage societies, and devoted over thirty years to genealogical research. She was preceded in death by her father, James E. Carter, her mother, Helen Ward Carter Drake; and her husband Maj. Thomas Edward Schick, who passed in 2001. Charlotte is survived by her son, Thomas A. Schick of Richardson, TX; daughter, Karen Macagno (Gilbert) of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren, Capt. William Schick, USMC of Quantico, VA, Andrew Schick of Seattle, WA, Christopher Macagno of Reno, NV, Anthony and Nicholas Macagno of Las Vegas, NV; sister, Judith Drake Griffith (Gene) of Red River, NM; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends throughout the United States. There are no services.
