August Lars Larson of Taney Street, Eugene, passed way Wednesday, April 2, 1958. He was born at Ida Grove, Iowa. He came to Eugene vicinity in 1915 where he had lived most of the time. He was a member of the Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wife, Lucy; one daughter, Mrs. Viola Lucas of Eugene, one son, Robert E. of Jefferson; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one brother, Lawrence T. of Slayton, Minnesota; one sister, Mrs. Frank Carlson Ida Grove; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday April 5, 1958 in the England Funeral Home, Pearl at the 18th at 1 p.m. Internment in West Lawn.

Viola Lucas was a step daughter
Viola was the daughter of Mabel and Lewis Albert Queen

I have not been able to find Robert E. of Jefferson.

August Lars Larson was born in Salby Sokon Skaraburgsland, Sweden, May 19, 1874. The family emigrated to this county try in 1893 and located at Ida Grove, Iowa.
Later they moved to a farm five miles north of Slayton, Murray County, Minnesota.

August was first married to Mabel Dahlin, October 19, 1918 in Lake Sarah Township, Murray County, Minnesota.
His second marriage was to Lucy Saxton
August moved around a great deal. He was in Iowa, Minnesota, and Oregon and each time he would change the date of his birth but documents from Sweden show he was born in 1874.
