Janice Mae Sherley the daughter of Toy and Audra Kay (Mosely) Vaughn was born February 16, 1950 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with her Lord on March 30, 2016 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 66 years, 1 month and 14 days.

Janice loved her family and was a very caring mother and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, crossword puzzles, drawing and coloring.

Her passion was in church. She loved the Lord and enjoyed serving especially in the Nursing Home Ministry. When she was introduced into the Nursing Home Ministry she never looked back. She was faithful to the Lord and faithful to service. Janice touched many lives and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Jim Sherley.

She is survived by a loving family which includes her children Charlie White of Massachusetts, Cynthia, and Jerry Sherley and wife Angie of Tahlequah; her sisters Linda McFarland and husband Ben of Tahlequah and Pamela Thomas of Muskogee; her twin sister Janet Waite and husband Robert of Clarksville, AR; 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Many nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
