Willie 'Ray' Brown age 81 - Sparta, Tennessee passed away Thursday morning April 7, 2016 in Sparta.
Mr. Brown was born June 9, 1934 in White County to the late Willie Henry Brown and Leoma Donelson Brown. He was a farmer and then went on to mow several yards. He was well-known around the Upper Cumberland for his square dancing and dancing the two-step. Ray has been a member of Black Oak Church of God since September 17, 1953. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by beloved wife Alice 'Willene' Brown; daughter Alice Suzette Brown; his grandson Tim Allen Brown, Jr.; brothers Bobby, Keith and Clay Brown; sisters Ruby Phann, Margaret Fillers and Elizabeth Brown.
Survivors include his four daughters -
Doris (Pete) Brown, Patricia (Darryl) Bogard, Bonnie (Gary) England, Pennie McClain
Son - Danny (Vickie) Brown
Son-in-law - Tim Brown
Thirteen grandchildren
Nineteen great-grandchildren

Services will be Monday, April 11, 2016 from the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Corinth Cemetery.
