RAWLINGS - Oren D. Rawlings, age 98, of 115 Chautauqua Ave., Lawrenceburg KY, husband of Mary D. Rawlings, Indian Harbor, Florida, died Tuesday, December 10, 2002 at Heritage Hill Care Center, Lawrenceburg KY. He was born April 14, 1904, a native of Fleming Co., he was the son of the late J.T. and Josephine Barber Rawlings. He was a member and Elder of First Presbyterian Church, Lawrenceburg KY and the Masonic Lodge in Bath County. He was a retired salesman for Radio Equipment in Lexington KY.

Besides his wife he is survived by a son, Dr. John (Carol) Rawlings, Frankfort, a daughter. Mrs. Michael (Sally) Razor, Mt. Sterling, a step-daughter, Maggie Smith, a sister, Mahala Power, Paris KY, 2 grandsons, Thomas Rawlings, Lexington, Michael Razor, Mt. Sterling, and 2 granddaughters, 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 6 brothers.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, December 12 at Gash Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ben Cain and Father Alan Sutherland officiating. Burial in Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday and after 8 a.m. Thursday. Contributions are suggested to the Lawrenceburg First Presbyterian Church.
