JOHN F. WILEY ABBEVILLE - John Franklin Wiley, 50, of Route 4, husband of Mrs. Carolyn Ethridge Wiley, died Aug. 10, 1987 at Self Memorial Hospital. Born in Abbeville County, he was a son of the late Jodie Abercrombie and Sallie Butler Wiley. He was an electrician with J.P. Stevens, Abbeville Plant and member of Providence Baptist Church of Hodges.Surviving, in addition to his wife of the home, are a daughter, Mrs. Patty Lynn Jordan of Watkinsville, Ga.; a son, Staff Sgt. Stephen Franklin Wiley of Athens, Ga.; five sisters, Mrs. Lois Pinson and Mrs. Mary Hall, both of Abbeville and Mrs. Frances Brown, Mrs. Geneva McCurry and Mrs. Vera Leveret-te, all of Calhoun Falls; four brothers, Jodie A. Wiley Jr., Otis Wiley and Mabry Wiley, all of Abbeville and James Wiley of Lowndesville; and a grandchild. Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Providence Baptist Church wifh the Rev. J.B. Redd and the Rev. Francis Whitmire officiating. Burial will be in Upper Long Cane Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lester Gene Manning, Rex Pelfrey, Donald Mundy, William Campbell, Robert Cann and Douglas Gray. Honorary escort will be the members of the Pastor's Sunday School class. at Harris Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight.
