Miguel C. Cabrera, 89, of Atglen, passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Neighborhood Hospice, West Chester.

He was the husband of Julia Narvaez Cabrera with whom he shared 52 years of marriage.

Born in Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Asuncion and Adelina Cabrera.

Miguel was a hardworking man who provided the best for his seven children, whom he was so very proud of.

He is survived by wife; seven children, Carmen J. Ortiz (Juan) of Little Britain, Miguel C. Cabrera, Jr. (Luz) of Lancaster, Adelaida Griffin (Dan) of MD, Rosa M. Ramos (Johnny) of DE, Zoraida Baer (Roy) of Nottingham, Jose W. Cabrera (Denise) of Oxford and Carlos M. Cabrera (Loretta) of Peach Bottom; twenty-one grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by seven brothers and two sisters.

Friends and family may visit Monday, April 11th, from 6 – 8:00 pm at the Edward L. Collins, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc., 86 Pine St., Oxford, PA.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am Tuesday, April 12th, at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 955 Robert Fulton Hwy, Quarryville, PA, where friends and family may visit from 10 – 10:45 am.

Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
