Daniel K. Duffin, 57, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2014. Dan was born in Indianapolis, son of Charles R. Duffin and Marjorie L. (Parks) Duffin. He attended Avon High School and graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in business. In 1981, he married Nancy Barron. He owned and operated a successful business for many years. Dan's family was always the most important part of his life. One thing he always said was that he "hit the lottery twice" with his two boys Drew and Mack. He is survived by Nancy, his beloved sons, Drew of Louisville, Kentucky, and Mack of Avon, Indiana; brother, Randall Duffin of Indianapolis; sisters, Jean Ann Neal of Marietta, Georgia, and Tracy Duffin O'Connell (Mark) of Miami, Florida. Many nieces and nephews also mourn his passing.
Family and friends may gather on Thursday, April 10, 2014 from 1-3 pm at St. Malachy Catholic Church, Brownsburg, Indiana. A funeral Mass will follow. Dan was deeply loved. His caring heart, charisma and unfailing sense of humor will be forever missed.
