Funeral services were recently held for Lloyd J. Niles, 76, who died at Hinds General Hospital after a brief illness.
Services were held from Baldwin Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Lakewood Cemetery. Rev. J.C. Carr of Tchula officiated.
Mr. Niles was a retired concrete contractor and he was non-denominational. He was born in Herrington. Kan., and made his home in Holmes County for 20 years.
Survivors include: his wife, Mrs. Majorie Niles; one son. Richard Niles. Orlando. Fla.; three daughters, Mrs. Harriet Sullivan, Pascagoula: Mrs. Hilda Ellis, Jackson and Mrs. Nancy Hearn, Tchula: 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
