PERRY -- Helen Larrine Mongold, Perry, died Tuesday, April 17, 2001, at a Topeka hospital.
She was born to George F. and Tressie E. Kratina Uhl in Topeka. She attended Silver Lake High School.
Mrs. Mongold was a member of the Grantville United Methodist Church and an honorary member of the ZCBJ Lodge at Rossville.
She married George F. Mongold on Aug. 30, 1947, in Topeka. He survives, of the home.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Bernita Diane Tryon-Ponte, on Sept. 9, 1998.
Survivors include a son, Terry M. Mongold, Grantville; a brother, Gerald Uhl, Perry; a sister, Juanita Kendall, Grantville; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Parker-Price Mortuary, Topeka. Burial will be in Prairie Home Cemetery. Mrs. Mongold will lie in state after 1 p.m. Thursday at Parker-Price Mortuary, where the family will receive friend from 7 to 8 p.m.
