Early Life: Dan was born September 9, 1944, in Payson, Utah, to Lloyd Byron and Violet Fay Waine Maples.
Life's Work/Service/Interests: He married Nancy Jane Corbett June 27, 1971. Dan drove truck for 40 years and was known for being a hard-working man who always put his family’s needs first. Taking care of his family always came before himself. He was a great teacher. Dan loved to hunt, fish, camp and go to Lake Powell. Above all, Dan loved spending time with his family. Daniel "Dan" Earl Maples, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, left this world on April 9, 2016, surrounded by his loving family.
Survived By: The love of his life, Nancy; children: Justin Maples, Danielle (Carlin) Kelau; 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Preceded In Death By: His daughter, Shantell; his parents, grandmother and father-in-law.
