He attended Forest Hills High School in Jackson and was a member of the Covington County Historical Society, Magnolia Cruisers, and the South MS Art Association.
Don is preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother; three sisters: Becky Rutland, Tammy Brock (Sonny), and Joye Taylor (Phillip); a niece, Lindy Taylor; two nephews, Landon Brock and Jory Taylor; two great nieces, Kinley and Sophie Brock; and his fur baby, Dolly.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at Forrest Funeral Home from 11-2 with the service to follow at 2:00 in Forrest Chapel. Interment will be at Roseland Park Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Make a Wish Foundation in Don’s honor.
