Death Summons Mrs. Reeder, 84
Three Weeks Illness Fatal to Resident of Conesville.
Conesville - Mrs. Jane Reeder, 84, died at Hershey hospital, Muscatine, at 7 p.m., Thursday after an illness of three weeks. She had been at the hospital since Monday night.
Born in Oakland, Ia., April 15, 1851, she was the daughter of John and Lavina Butcher. She was married to William Reeder March 18, 1876. Mr. Reeder preceded her in death a number of years ago.
Survives include four sisters, Mrs. Minnie Sterling and Mrs. Bessie Reynolds of Conesville, Mrs. Nora Kay of Davenport, and Mrs. Eva Church of Chicago; two sisters, Mrs. Ada George of Muscatine, and Mrs. Martha Patterson of Winfield, ten grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Two daughters, Cora and Jennie, preceded her in death.
The body will remain at the George Wittich Funeral home at Muscatine until Sunday when it will be brought to Conesville for services at the Reformed church Sunday at 2 p.m.

*Where it lists survivors as four sisters: Mrs. Minnie Sterling, Mrs. Bessie Reynolds, Mrs. Nora Kay, Mrs. Eva Church, these are actually her surviving daughters.
