William Dean "Bill" Wenberg of Little Rock, Aransas, passed away on August 22, 2015. He was born and raised in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota and a graduate of Moorhead State University. He was the son of William Stephen Heindl and Bonita Belle Bemis. Bill's father died in 1958, when he was only 9 years old. His mother remarried Ronald Wenberg in 1959. His step-father legally adopted Bill and he took the name of "Wenberg". He was preceded in death by his mother, Bonita. Bill is survived by his loving wife, Rhonda: two sons, Shane Wenberg and wife, Renee: Lucas Wenberg and wife Jen: daughter, Desiree Palculict and husband, Randy: father, Ronald Wenberg and sister Wendy Hieggelke and husband, Loren: brother David Wenberg and wife, Sue: five grandchildren: Ave Palculct: Carter Wenberg: Walker and Cole Wenberg and Lola Wenberg. Bill can best be described as a vivacious, fun loving man. Everyone who met him was "Lucky" to know him!. He enjoyed his 30 years with AFLAC, because of this, Bill and Rhonda traveled the world. Bill was a Vietnam veteran who loved his country. He also loved hunting and fishing with his Dad and sons; watching the Minnesota Vikings and drinking fine red wine. A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm; Friday August 28, 2015 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Arkansas 72211 (501)224-8300. Reception immediately following the service at Pleasant Valley Country Club.
