ADAMS, Winston; a resident of Wetumpka , Alabama ; former Supervisor of Dan River Mills and current Owner/Operator of Adams Produce was born on January 22, 1939 in Clanton , Alabama and passed away Sunday, April 10, 2016 at the age of 77. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Gassett Funeral Home . Funeral services are Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Holtville Riverside Baptist Church with Rev. Kenneth Garner officiating. Interment will follow at Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Clanton. Mr. Adams is survived by his wife of 57 years; son; daughters; seven grandchildren; great-grandson; sister; brother; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lummie Adams and Gertie Mae Adams Mitchell; brothers, Terry Adams and Rev. W.L. Adams. Pallbearers will be grandsons, along with Duncan Eckels, Stanley Adams, and Stacy Adams. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions are requested to the Sanders Building Fund at Holtville Riverside Baptist Church .
