The daughter of John Wesley and Goldie Marie (Burns) Varner, Jennie was born on July 10, 1936, in Dry Fork.
Jennie and Burley Teter were married 43 years prior to his death.
Their marriage was one of love and devotion.
Together they worked side-by-side in their company, Teter Trucking.
Jennie enjoyed sewing and gardening, and she was a avid bowler.
She loved having her friends visit her home and play a good game of cards.
She will be remembered for being a wonderful person to give advice and support and a great listener.
Jennie always helped you to see the bright side of things.
Jennie is survived by her sons, Michael and Cheryl Teter and John Teter, all of Pierpont, Ohio; grandchildren, Riki Hall, Jamie and Jennifer Teter and Michael Teter, all of Pierpont, Ohio; Troy Teter of Elyria, Ohio, and Johnie Teter of Tucson, Ariz.; 10 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Annalea Lawrence of Hambleton, Juanita Mallow and Grace and Richard Wolford, all of Dry Fork; brothers, Joseph Varner of Dry Fork; sister-in-law, Joyce Varner of Dry Fork; and nieces and nephews.
Jennie was preceded in death by her husband, Burley Lewis Teter, on Aug. 11, 1997; daughter, Deborah Teter; siblings, John Junior Carl, Kathryn, Mason, Jacob and Mary Elizabeth, both of whom died in infancy; sister-in-law, Jeanie Varner; brothers-in-law, Tom Teter and Keith Mallow, and her parents.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, April 17, at noon at the Hinkle Funeral Home, 567 Thomas Ave., in Davis with the Rev. Walter Sebastian, pastor of Riverside Mennonite Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Crossroads Cemetery, Tacy.
Calling hours will be observed from 5-8 p.m. Saturday at the Hinkle Funeral Home.
