Original name Mariano Alberto Martínez. Actor, musician, composer and orchestra leader. A true legend of the tango, he began his career in 1936 and composed tangos like "Uno", "Taquito Militar", "Gricel", "Cuartito Azul" and many others. He was the creator of the modern tango sextet. He was the father of the late tango singer Nito Mores who died in 1984.
