CHARLES RICHARD BRYANT
Charles Richard Bryant, 74, of Quinlan passed away at his home on April 14, 2016. Mr. Bryant was born February 20, 1942 in Shamrock, Texas. He honorably served in the United States Navy from 1959-1965. He moved to Quinlan in 1980. He is survived by his companion of 32 years Betty White; sisters Kay Bohlar and husband Darrow of Shamrock, Marty Martin and husband Harvey of Arlington; brothers Jerry Bellar and wife Lorraine of Amarillo, Jackie Bellar and wife Ramona of Oklahoma; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Services are pending.
*Added: Richard loved to fish and was a very good fisherman. He also liked to remember the past and told stories about our lives growing up in Shamrock, Texas. He did a lot of stretching of the truth I am afraid, but we always loved to listen to his tales.
Richard will be laid to rest in the Shamrock Cemetery, in the "Bellar Family Plot"
with his parents.
Richard was preceded in death by his ex-wife Susan Gregory-Butler. They were married February 20, 1963 in Winterhaven, Imperial, California. Susie was born Oct 18, 1939 in Tacoma, Pierce, Washington, died about 2009 in Shelton, Mason, Washington. They had no children.
