A graveside service for Francis Wilder Feagans, 92, 315 E. Lee Highway, New Market, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Mount Olivet Cemetery in McGaheysville. The Rev. Don Reid will conduct the service.

Mr. Feagans died Monday, Feb. 21, 2000, at Life Care Center in New Market.

He was born Sept. 29, 1907, in Alexandria, and was a son of the late Eugene and Inez Virginia Goodwin Feagans.

He lived in Alexandria most of his life and moved to the Harrisonburg area 20 years ago. He was the store manager for Acme Food and was a member of First Baptist Church in Alexandria.

On Oct. 23, 1964, he married Elsie Morris Raines, who died June 18, 1982.

Surviving are two sons, William F. Feagans, Louisa, and James E. Feagans, Gainesville; one daughter, June Marie Keplinger, Peach Tree City, Ga.; four stepchildren, Louis Raines, California, Norma McKinley, Burke, Vincent Raines, Harrisonburg, and Syevilla Patterson, Orange; three sisters, Dove, Helen and Vivian; two brothers, Douglas Feagans, Fairfax, and James Feagans, Florida; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 10 stepgrandchildren; and a number of great-stepgrandchildren.

Arrangements are by the Lindsey Harrisonburg Funeral Home.
