Little Son of John Lashuay Has Head Crushed by Wagon Wheel
John Kenyon, the six-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. John Lashuay of Homer, was instantly killed at his home Friday afternoon, when he fell under a wagon loaded with gravel, the wheels of which passed over his head. He was born Dec. 3, 1911, and died September 6, 1918, aged six years, nine months and three days. Kenyon was a bright cheerful little boy and will long be remembered for the pleasant smile with which he greeted everyone and for his kind, loving disposition. Six of his little playmates acted as pallbearers at the funeral, which was held at the Homer church, conducted by Rev. J. A. Yeoman.
